Dark Match

MMM (Marvellous Mike Manning) and Real Dude vs. The Producers

MMM makes his way down to the ring to no entrance music. Most of the fans give him no reaction except for a small section of the crowd who begin chanting “MMM, MMM, MMM!” As MMM walks down the entrance way, he sees the fans chanting his name and acknowledges them with a nod. He slides into the ring and awaits the entrance of his tag team partner.

Real Dude’s music hits and he makes his way down the entrance way to loud boos from the crowd. He has an angry look on his face as usual and doesn’t even look at MMM as he enters the ring.

“Video Killed The Wrestling Star” rings around the arena as the Producers enter the ring. The crowd go wild for Steve “Prime Time” Johnson and his tag team partner Gerry “Hollywood” Johnson. They climb on two separate turnbuckles and point at the Riff Raff, then the Berzerker-Holics and finally the Trash-Heads in attendance.

Both teams decide who will start the match. Real Dude and MMM have already decided that Real Dude will start but the Producers are still arguing as the referee rings the bell. As both Producers turn around to face Real Dude, they are hit with a huge Double Clothesline that knocks both of them off their feet. Real Dude then grabs Prime Time and slams him to the mat as Hollywood makes his way to his feet. Real Dude then begins to stamp on the ribs of PT before jumping in the air and landing knee first on the chest area.

Real Dude then drags PT to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. Real Dude charges at PT and drives his shoulder into his gut. Real Dude then proceeds to punch PT in the head with no sign of relenting. He only backs off when the referee spots Real Dude using a clenched fist and pulls Real Dude away. Real Dude looking quite confident whips PT into the ropes and goes for a boot to the face. However PT ducks under Real Dude’s leg and puts Real Dude in a headlock.

Real Dude easily counters and picks up PT and falls back sending PT head and shoulders first into the mat. Real Dude stops for a moment and surveys the damage he has caused before going to work on PT’s right leg. Real Dude begins to stomp on the leg before applying a version of the Ankle Lock. PT screams in pain as Hollywood starts clapping his hands to get the crowd behind PT.

CROWD: Let’s go Prime Time! *clap* clap* clap*

After a few minutes, PT finally manages to counter by pushing his foot into Real Dude’s face which makes Real release the hold and go flying into the ropes. PT then performs an impressive forward roll and tags in Hollywood to the delight of the crowd. Hollywood knocks Real over with a Clothesline, and another one, and another one! He then sets Real up for a Power Bomb but Real counters by pushing Hollywood away into the ropes. Hollywood bounces off the ropes and runs into a Back Body Drop by Real. However, Hollywood lands on his feet and hits a Backstabber on Real who winces in pain. Hollywood looks around at the fans before pointing to the turnbuckle.

Hollywood begins climbing to the top turnbuckle and is about to jump when MMM shakes the ropes causing Hollywood to land crotch first on the turnbuckle. This gives Real Dude time to recover who realizes the situation and hits a huge SuperPlex on Hollywood. Real goes for the pin 1…2…the pin is broken up by PT who is still feeling the effects of Real’s ankle lock. Real hits PT with a Superkick as PT tries to run away. Real then tags in MMM who delivers a devastating kick to the side of Hollywood’s head. Real then knocks PT over the top rope as MMM goes for the cover, 1…2…3! MMM and Real Dude pick up the victory!

MMM leaves the ring first to cheers from the crowd and Real Dude soon follows but
he receives boos. PT and Hollywood are still lying on the floor when the BMPA come out and take the Producers away.

RJ: Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to welcome you to another edition of Monday Night Shutdown coming to you live from the Birmingham Bowl. Things are a little different tonight as Shutdown has a new commissioner for the night as our regular commissioner; The Saint is in America promoting 6WF. Our commissioner tonight is a man called Rock V2 and he will be making an announcement regarding tonight’s show in a few moments.

The camera cuts to shots of the crowd who are going crazy before moving to the Titantron where Rock V2 has appeared.

Rock V2: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to personally welcome you to the Rock V2’s Electrifying Summer Bank Holiday Shutdown and what a show I have got lined up for you. Tonight, we have a Hardcore Championship match between my father and the reigning Hardcore Champion Cruiser Jim, the man I beat last week on Lockdown!

Finally, we also have the debut of a new tournament here in 6WF. This tournament is called Road To Royalty and the concept is quite simple. We start with 4 quarter finals and the winners of the quarter finals meet each other in the Semi Finals. The winners of the 2 Semi Finals compete in the final and whoever wins the Final is crowned the winner of the Road To Royalty Tournament. Now you may be thinking what’s so special about that. Well, let me tell you. You see, the winner of the tournament not only becomes King of 6WF and gets to choose his Royal Moniker, but he also gets a championship opportunity against any champion of his choosing!

Dave Law: My god Michael, that’s a huge announcement from tonight’s commissioner!

Now before the show, I took the liberty of making the draw for the Road To Royalty Tournament. There will be 8 participants taking part in the tournament and I will now reveal who will be facing who. In Quarter Final 1, it will be Nemesis vs….Crime Lord!
Quarter Final 2 is TGA vs…JJ Johnson!

RJ: Our two world champions have both been drawn against tough opponents tonight!

Quarter Final 3 will be River Ace vs…Hobo! And last but not least, Quarter Final 4 is Enforcer vs…Hero! I’m sure you’ll agree those are all mouth watering matches so let’s not delay any longer, let the games begin!”

Rock V2 disappears from the screen as Crime Lord’s music plays and he makes his way down to the ring to large boos from the 6WF crowd.

DV: I can’t believe we are starting the show with a Road To Royalty Quarter Final!
RJ: I know, this night just keeps on getting better and better!
DV: Why what have you been up to? Did you go to GAY nightclub today?
RJ: No…just concentrate on commentating!
DV: Ooh, I’m sorry I hurt your feelings; do you want me to kiss it better? I think you do!
RJ: Shut up!

By the time RJ and Dave Law have stopped arguing, Crime Lord is already standing in the ring awaiting his opponent.

An eerie glow appears on the entrance way as the lights dim. After a few moments, Nemesis steps out from behind the curtain and slowly makes his way down to the ring. He doesn’t take his eyes off Crime Lord as he enters the ring. The two men have a stand off as the referee rings the bell.

Both men look at each other and dare each other to take the first punch. Crime Lord goes to punch Nemesis but stops just before he connects and pokes Nemesis in the eye. Crime Lord then kicks and punches Nemesis repeatedly to try and weaken the big man. Crime Lord goes for an Uppercut which Nemesis blocks. Nemesis then hits Crime Lord with a huge Uppercut of his own that sends the former Hardcore Champion flying. Nemesis then walks over to Crime Lord who grabs Nemesis’s tights and flings him out of the ring. Crime Lord quickly gets back to his feet and sees Nemesis standing outside the ring with his back turned. Crime Lord pauses for a few moments before running to the opposite side of the ring, bouncing off the ropes and diving through the middle ropes knocking over Nemesis in the process.

RJ: This just shows you how much these superstars want to be named King of 6WF.
DV: And get a title shot!

Crime Lord makes his way to his feet first and drags Nemesis to his feet. Crime Lord goes to whip Nemesis into the steel steps, but Nemesis counters at the last minute and it’s Crime Lord who is left tasting the steel. Nemesis notices the referee has counted to 8 and rolls into the ring to break up the count. Almost immediately, he climbs out of the ring again and starts pummelling Crime Lord in the head.

DV: This has turned into a brawl between two of the meanest superstars in 6WF.

After a few minutes, Nemesis stops hitting Crime Lord and looks around his surroundings. He then notices the announce table at ringside and a sick smile appears on his face. At this point, Crime Lord has made his way to his feet and Nemesis realizes this. He stands behind Crime Lord and drives him skull first into the steel ring post causing a little trickle of blood to roll down the face of Crime Lord. Nemesis rolls back into the ring to break up the count again before dragging Crime Lord across to the announce table. Nemesis rolls Crime Lord onto the table before climbing on himself.

RJ: The TAW World Champion has got some evil intentions here!

Nemesis sets up Crime Lord for a Chokeslam and is about to hit it when Crime Lord delivers 3 elbows to the side of Nemesis’s head causing him to release his grip. Crime Lord takes advantage of his opportunity and hits a Crime Pays on Nemesis through the table.

DV: OH MY GOD!

Both men are laid out on the floor as the referee begins his count. 1…2…3…4…5…6…Crime Lord is the first man to stir and he begins to crawl his way back to the ring. Just as Crime Lord rolls back into the ring at 8, Nemesis sits up and begins to laugh.

RJ: What’s this freak laughing at, he just got put through a table for god’s sake!
DV: Shh, he can hear you!

Nemesis quickly makes his way to his feet and slides into the ring. As he gets up, Crime Lord hits him with a huge Clothesline that knocks the Monster off of his feet for a short period. Crime Lord then begins to stamp on the ribs of Nemesis before whipping him into the turnbuckle and hitting another Clothesline and then a Running Power Slam in one fluid move. Crime Lord goes for the pin…1…2…strong kick out by the TAW Champion.
Crime Lord waits for Nemesis to get up before charging and hitting a Spear on the big man. Crime Lord quickly makes his way to the top rope and positions himself.

RJ: It’s not often you see Crime Lord going to the top rope.
DV: Desperate times call for desperate measures!

After positioning himself, Crime Lord looks like he has hit a Splash on Nemesis. However, the camera zooms in and you can see Nemesis has his left hand wrapped around the throat of Crime Lord.

RJ: What the?! Nemesis caught a near 300 pound man in mid air!

Nemesis makes his way to his feet, his hand still firmly gripped on Crime Lord’s throat. Nemesis begins laughing again before looking into the eyes of Crime Lord and mouthing the words “Rest In Peace!” Nemesis then hits a devastating Choke Slam on Crime Lord.

DV: That’s got to be it. Oh no, come on now Nemesis, this is uncalled for!
RJ: Shut up Dave, Crime Lord deserves everything he gets here!

Nemesis drags a lifeless Crime Lord to his feet and a sick smile appears on his face. He then sets up Crime Lord for a Death Wish and hits it. Nemesis goes for the cover, 1…2…3!

The lights dim again as Nemesis’s entrance music plays. The referee goes to raise Nemesis’s hand but Nemesis gives him one look that makes the ref back off. Nemesis stares at Crime Lord for a few moments before leaving the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

RJ: Nemesis has already shown what he is capable of and what he will do to win this Road To Royalty tournament. 1 down, 2 to go.

DV: And I’d hate to be the person who has to face him in the next round!

RJ: We’ll find out later on tonight as the Road To Royalty tournament continues!

After a commercial break, we see Dr Necro helping Crime Lord up the entrance ramp as the ring announcer is standing in the ring.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, it’s now time for our next match of the evening and it’s another Road To Royalty Quarter Final.

Introducing first, he is your current 6WF Internet Champion, he is the Franchise Playa, he is JJ Johnson!

Limp Bizkit’s “Get Your Groove On” rings around the arena and the crowd erupt as the ever popular JJ Johnson makes his way down to the ring. He slaps the hands of most of the fans as he makes his way down the entrance way. He slides into the ring, climbs on the turnbuckles and raises his hands to the crowd in appreciation. He then waits for his opponent to arrive.
DV: JJ Johnson looks focused tonight
RJ: I think that’s down to the fact that he wants to be crowned King JJ tonight

Pyrotechnics on either side of the stage explode as TGA appears on the stage to loud boos from the crowd. He walks down the entrance ramp with a swagger and is about to enter the ring when he stops for a moment and stares at JJ intensely. He then laughs and makes his way into the ring.

DV: TGA looks confident tonight.
RJ: Well, if I were him, I wouldn’t underestimate our Internet Champion. TGA’s going to have a tough time defeating JJ let alone winning the entire tournament.

The referee rings the bell and the match begins. Both men circle around the ring not taking their eyes of each other. TGA is the first man to strike as he slides across the ring and performs a Double Leg Take Down on JJ. TGA makes his way to his feet quickly before moving back to the opposite of the ring.

DV: TGA showing his speed and technical ability there

JJ gets up and stares at TGA before charging at him. TGA goes for a Clothesline but JJ ducks and slides underneath the legs of TGA before picking up the 6WF World Champion and slamming him face first onto the mat. JJ then runs back to his side of the ring as TGA recovers.

TGA makes his way to his feet and runs at JJ who goes for a Spear. TGA avoids the Spear by leap frogging over JJ and hitting a German Suplex on the Internet Champion. TGA pauses for a moment before dragging JJ to his feet and whipping him into the turnbuckle. TGA talks trash to the crowd before running at JJ who moves out of the way at the last minute causing TGA to go shoulder first into the ring post.

RJ: TGA was more focused on annoying our fans rather than finishing JJ Johnson off

JJ, realizing his opportunity goes for a roll up pin. 1…2…kick out by the 6WF World Champion.

JJ spots TGA holding his injured shoulder and drives TGA shoulder first into the ring post once again. As TGA falls to the mat, JJ applies an arm bar.

DV: This is a smart strategy by the Franchise Playa. He is trying to separate the shoulder of TGA.

RJ: And if JJ manages to do that, surely that will prevent TGA from hitting his two finishers, the Angel Bomb and To Hell And Back?

TGA screams in pain as JJ increases the pressure on the shoulder and arm. After a few minutes, the referee raises TGA’s arm to see if the man with the 120 wheeler monster truck is still conscious. The ref raises TGA’s hand and it drops, the ref’s raises his hand again and it drops, the ref raises TGA’s hand for the last time and TGA keeps it up at the last minute. Then with possibly all the energy he has left, TGA makes it to the ropes and JJ is forced to release the hold.
As JJ goes to apply the hold again, JJ rolls out of the ring and tries to take time to recover but JJ is having none of it. JJ grabs TGA and whips him shoulder first into the steel steps. TGA winces in pain as JJ walks over to him.

DV: We are seeing a different, darker side to JJ Johnson tonight
RJ: That just shows you how much he wants to win this tournament

JJ lifts up TGA high above his shoulders in an impressive show of strength and drops him throat first onto the security wall separating the fans from the ring. He then drapes TGA’s arm over the wall and begins dropping his elbow on the shoulder of the world champion. After a few shots, JJ drags TGA over to the ring post, wraps his arm around it and delivers a brutal kick to the exposed arm.

DV: That sound was the sound of bones cracking, ladies and gentlemen. TGA’s arm may be broken in two.

TGA groans in agony as JJ rolls him into the ring. JJ follows and he climbs the turnbuckle and raises his hands in victory to the crowd who go wild. Still standing on the turnbuckle, JJ turns around to see TGA running at him. Then in an incredible show of agility, TGA jumps up to the top turnbuckle and delivers a Belly To Belly Suplex off the top rope sending both men crashing to the floor. Both men aren’t moving so the referee begins the count, 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8, TGA is the first men to stir as he makes his way to his feet. He drags JJ to his feet and whips him against the ropes delivering a huge Spinebuster to the Internet Champion.

TGA quickly makes his way to the top turnbuckle and goes for an Elbow Drop. Unfortunately for TGA, JJ Johnson moves out of the way at the last moment. JJ waits for TGA to make his way to his feet and when he does, JJ Johnson hits the Franchise Experience on the World Champion. JJ goes for the cover, 1…2...kick out!

RJ: WHAT!? TGA kicked out of the Franchise Experience. That’s impossible! Has anyone ever kicked out of the Franchise Experience before?

JJ has a look of disbelief on his face as he bounces off the ropes only to be met with a Hell And Back by TGA!

DV: The Hell And Back! The Hell And Back! The Hell And Back! That’s got to be it!

TGA goes for the cover, 1…2…3!

RJ: And it is! TGA advances to the next round of the Road To Royalty tournament but he was pushed to the limit by a determined JJ Johnson.

TGA stares at JJ for a moment while holding his shoulder before looking at the 6WF fans and smiling. TGA then makes his way quickly up the entrance ramp to get his shoulder checked on.

DV: TGA may have won this match but at what cost? Is he 100% for the next round and will he even be able to compete? You’ll find out after the commercial break!

RJ: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to 6WF! We have already had two fantastic matches tonight and it’s now time for another one. Let’s take you to the ring where it’s now time for our 3rd Road To Royalty Quarter Final match.

Announcer: Introducing first, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is one half of Trash TV, he comes from the Local Dump, he is Hobo!

Don’t Fear The Reaper by The Blue Oyster Cult rings around the arena as everybody’s favourite tramp makes his way down to the ring. Hobo walks over and greets all the Riff Raff and Trash Heads before rolling into the ring. He gets a chant of “DI –AB - LO” started and it soon becomes the only thing you can hear. Hobo then awaits the entrance of his opponent.

Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades” begins to play and River Ace makes his way to the ring, the crowd giving him a hostile reception. He slides into the ring and goes nose to nose with Hobo. River looks like he is going to back off when he slaps Hobo in the face. River Ace laughs as Hobo doesn’t retaliate. Instead Hobo holds out his hand and asks River to shake it. River stops laughing and looks confused. After a few moments, River Ace goes to shake Hobo’s hand but as he does, Hobo gives him a Handshake of his own by poking River in the eye.

Hobo then kicks River in the gut and hits him with a Double Arm DDT. Hobo goes for the pin, 1…strong kick out by the commissioner of Lockdown. As River gets up, he walks straight into a Body Slam and Hobo follows that up by dropping a knee onto the forehead of River Ace. Hobo goes for another pin, 1…2…kick out again.

Hobo goes for an Elbow Drop which River Ace avoids. River Ace then hits Hobo with a huge Clothesline that knocks the tramp off of his feet. River Ace then rains down lots of blows on the skull of Hobo before standing on Hobo’s throat. The referee begins to count, 1…2…3…4…River releases his foot before he gets disqualified. River Ace then begins to stamp on the ribs of Hobo before dragging him to the ropes. He then drapes Hobo’s throat over the bottom rope and begins standing on the back of Hobo’s throat. The referee counts again, 1…2…3…4, River Ace releases the hold before the 5 count.

River Ace drags Hobo to his feet and whips him against the ropes. River Ace is bending over looking for a Back Body Drop when Hobo bounces back off the ropes. Hobo sees this and kicks River in the mouth. River Ace turns around holding his chin and Hobo takes down River Ace with a Chop Block. Hobo then begins driving his knee into the back of River’s knee before applying a version of the Figure Four Leg Lock.

DV: Hobo using the Figure Four Leg Lock? This night is full of surprises!

River Ace struggles to escape but Hobo has got the submission locked in tight. After a few moments, River Ace finds the energy to sit up and spit in the face of Hobo causing Hobo to lose his grip and let River escape the hold. As Hobo tries to regain his sight, River Ace takes advantage of the situation and kicks Hobo in the gut. River then delivers a Power Bomb and goes for the cover. 1…2…River gets a near fall.

River looking frustrated attempts to lock in the Texas Hold Em but Hobo manages to wriggle free of River’s grip. As River walks towards Hobo, out of nowhere, River gets hit with a running neck breaker. Hobo waits for River to get up before beginning the Down And Out, Hobo hits River once, twice, for the third and a fourth time causing the European Champion to fall to the floor. Hobo goes for the pin, 1…2…kick out.

Hobo picks up River and whips him against the ropes and when River returns, he gets hit with the Bum Rush. Immediately after, Hobo sets up River for the Soft Shoe Shuffle.

RJ: This could do it right here people, wait what’s this? What the hell is he doing here?

The camera cuts to the entrance ramp where we see Henchman running down to the ring. Hobo sees this and lets go of River for the moment. As Henchman climbs onto the apron, he is met with a Bum Rush of his own. As the referee goes to check on Henchman, Hobo walks back into River Ace who nails Hobo with a low blow behind the referee’s back.

DV: Oh, come on, not this way!

As the referee turns back to face the action, River Ace is setting up a winded Hobo for the Poker Plex and he hits it. River goes for the cover, 1…2…3!

RJ: And he did it! River Ace with the help of Henchman advances to the next round of the Road To Royalty tournament

DV: He stole the victory RJ; I hope Nemesis kicks his ass in the next round!

But before we see that, we have still got one more Semi Final match to complete. It’s Hero vs Enforcer next!

RJ: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, it’s now time for the final 6WF Road To Royalty Quarter Final. Its Hero vs Enforcer for the final place in the Semi Finals.

The lights in the arena fade to black, Anarchy In The UK blasts out of the speakers and half the crowd erupt. Pyros explode down each side of the ramp and a laser flickers through the smoke billowing around ringside. As the smoke clears a figure stands in the middle of the ring, Hero.

DV: Hero is receiving a mixed reaction tonight. Half the crowd love him and half of them hate him. What do you think of Hero RJ?

RJ: I hate him! He’s too cocky for my liking!

DV: What? I thought you liked cocky men?

RJ: Shut up!

Saturday Night rings around the arena as the crowd go wild for the other half of Trash TV; Enforcer makes his way down to the ring. Enforcer stops in the middle of the entrance ramp and spots the Trash Heads in the crowd going crazy. He makes his way over to them and slaps the hand of every single Trash Head before sliding into the ring. He stares at Hero for a few moments before climbing the turnbuckle and getting a Trash TV chant started.

CROWD: Trash TV! Trash TV! Trash TV!

The referee rings the bell and Hero and Enforcer lock up. Enforcer gets the better of Hero and puts him in a headlock. Hero manages to push him off and Enforcer goes flying into the ropes. When he returns, he takes down Hero with a Shoulder Block. Enforcer runs to the ropes again and hits a Leg Drop on the former 6WF World Champion before going for the cover. 1…2…strong kick out by Hero.

Enforcer drags Hero to his feet who delivers a knee to the gut of Enforcer before hitting a Snap DDT on the big man. Hero then runs to the ropes and hits a Lionsault on Enforcer. Hero goes for the pin, 1…2...near fall for the man from Anarchy. Hero looking slightly agitated goes for the Springboard 630 Seaton and hits it, 1…2…kick out at the last moment by Enforcer!

Hero looking very frustrated climbs to the top rope and positions himself. He talks trash to the section of the crowd that are booing him before attempting a corkscrew moonsault. Just as Hero is about to jump, Enforcer flips up and shakes the ropes causing Hero to fall crotch first onto the top turnbuckle.

DV: There’ll be no more Mini Hero’s now! Huzzah!

Hero groans in pain as Enforcer climbs the ropes and sets Hero up for a Musclebuster.

RJ: Enforcer going for the kill here

Enforcer hits the Musclebuster and quickly goes for the pin, one…two…thre-no! Hero gets his foot on the ropes to small cheers from the crowd.

Enforcer quickly gets up and drags Hero to his feet. He whips Hero into the ropes who performs an amazing Flip Back Elbow Strike again knocking the big man off of his feet. Hero waits for Enforcer to get up before performing a Corkscrew Dropkick. Hero goes for the cover, 1…2…another kick out by Enforcer!

DV: Enforcer won’t give up! He is determined to become King!

Hero pauses for a few moments to catch his breath before going for Rolling Thunder. He hits it but when he does, Enforcer keeps hold of Hero, rolls through and sets him up for the Face Check. Enforcer is about to hit it when Hero elbows Enforcer in the side of the head causing Enforcer to lose his grip. When Enforcer turns around, he is met with a huge Superkick.

RJ: That nearly took his damn head off!

Hero smiles and mouths the words “Your next King” before waiting for Enforcer to get up. When Enforcer eventually gets to his feet, he is on the receiving end of a Canadian Destroyer. Hero quickly goes for the cover, 1…2…3!

DV: And that’s all she wrote! Hero claims the semi final spot and we know now what the Semi Finals are. In the first Semi Final, it will be Nemesis vs River Ace and in the second Semi Final, it’s TGA vs Hero.

RJ: Those are two PPV quality matches Dave, but we get to see them here tonight!

DV: Yes, but before that, we have got some other matches to look forward to. After this break, it’s the mysterious Xanthi Rose teaming up with Anarchy’s First Lady Black Widow to take on the team of Belinda and the curvaceous Trish Stratus! See you then!

DV: Welcome back 6WF fans, it’s now time for the Divas Tag Match and this feud between Trish Stratus and Xanthi Rose and Black Widow has been simmering for weeks now. Tonight, it could explode!

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first, weighing in at 300 pounds, she is Anarchy’s First Lady, she is Black Widow!

Black Widow steps out of the curtain and makes her way down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. She steps into the ring and awaits the entrance of her tag team partner.

Announcer: And introducing her tag team partner, she weighs in at 214 pounds, she is Xanthi Rose!

Xanthi makes her way down to the ring to yet another mixed reaction from the crowd. She nods at Black Widow as she enters the ring. The two of them stand side by side.

Announcer: And introducing their partners weighing in at a combined weight of 250 pounds, they are the team of Trish Stratus and Belinda!

Trish Stratus’s entrance music plays and the crowd erupt as the former WWE Women’s Champion makes her way down to the ring followed by Belinda.
Trish stops before she enters the ring and stares at Xanthi and BW for a few moments. She then whispers something in the ear of Belinda who nods. After a few moments, Belinda and Trish slide into the ring and hit Xanthi and BW with a surprise Double Clothesline. Trish then knocks over BW over the top rope and helps Belinda lift up Xanthi for a Double Suplex.

RJ: Trish and Xanthi showing great teamwork there

Trish and BW make their way to the apron as Xanthi and Belinda start the match. Xanthi is the first woman to strike as she hits Belinda with a right forearm smash before hitting a picture perfect dropkick on the woman from Trash TV. She stands on her opponent’s chest and screams for the referee to count. 1…2...kick out by Belinda.

Belinda gets up and charges at Xanthi, hitting a Bum Rush on The Man Beater. She then waits for Xanthi to get up before kicking her in the gut and delivering a Double Arm DDT. Belinda goes for the pin, 1…2…kick out! Xanthi then scuttles away quickly to her corner and tags in BW. Belinda sees this and immediately tags in Trish who stares at BW. She then steps into the ring and goes to nose to nose with Anarchy’s First Lady.

BW goes for the first punch that Trish blocks. Trish then hits a few lefts and rights before whipping BW off the ropes and when BW returns, attempts a Chick Kick which BW ducks under. When Trish turns around, she gets knocked over by a huge Shoulder Barge. BW then begins to stamp on the ribs of Trish before dragging her to her feet and hitting Trish with a Powerbomb. BW goes for the pin, 1…2…late kick out by Diablo’s former valet. BW slowly gets up and looks around her.

RJ: What’s BW thinking here?
DV: Whatever it is, I don’t like the sound of!

BW smiles as she slowly walks over to the turnbuckle, she climbs to the top rope and positions herself. She then lets out an evil laugh as she jumps.

RJ: No! This could crush Trish!

Fortunately, Trish rolls out of the way at the last moment as BW goes chest and face first into the match. Trish quickly makes her way to her feet and waits for BW to get up. When she does, Trish nails her with a Chick Kick and goes for the cover.

DV: And that should be it!

The referee counts, one…two…thre-no! Xanthi Rose breaks up the count and begins to punch Trish in the back of the head repeatedly. Belinda then runs in and starts trading blows with Xanthi. Trish, who is standing behind Belinda tells her to duck which Belinda does. Trish then hits a Chick Kick on Xanthi. When Trish and Belinda turn around, they get hit with a huge Double Suplex by BW. Belinda rolls out of the ring holding her back as BW bounces off the ropes and hits a huge Splash on Trish. BW goes for the cover, 1…2…3!

RJ: And it’s over! Trish and Belinda put up a brave effort but it wasn’t enough to stop the might of the combined force of Xanthi Rose and Black Widow.

Trish and Belinda are left lying on the floor wincing in pain while BW and Xanthi walk up the entrance ramp together with Marlon following behind.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, it’s now time for the first Road To Royalty Semi Final!

Introducing first, he is the current TAW World Heavyweight Champion, he is Nemesis!

An eerie glow appears on the entrance way as the lights dim. After a few moments, Nemesis steps out from behind the curtain and slowly makes his way down to the ring for a second time He looks more focused and intense than usual. He steps into the ring and awaits the entrance of River Ace.

Announcer: And entering the ring next, he is your European Champion, he is River Ace!

Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades” begins to play and River Ace makes his way to the ring, the crowd giving him a hostile reception. He slides into the ring and immediately begins to trade blows with Nemesis.

RJ: Those two aren’t wasting any time in getting things started here!

River Ace gets the early advantage and begins delivering knees and kicks to the skull of Nemesis. He then whips the Monster into the ropes and hits him with a high knee.
He then begins pummelling the head of Nemesis again and continues to do so until Nemesis pushes him off.

River Ace then goes for a Lariat which Nemesis counters with a Boot to the face. Nemesis quickly drags River to his feet and sets him up for a Chokeslam which River easily counters.

DV: Both men trying to end the match early.
RJ: They want to save their energy for the final!

River then sets up Nemesis for the Poker Plex which Nemesis also counters. Both men then hit each other with huge clotheslines and they both fall to the mat.

DV: Both men showing signs of early fatigue.
The referee begins the count, 1…2…3…4…5...Nemesis gets up first and kicks River in the head. He then drags him over to the turnbuckle and begins driving his shoulder into the gut of River. He then picks River up and drops him face first onto the turnbuckle. Nemesis then drops River with a huge Uppercut before performing a slit throat motion.

RJ: Oh no! We know what that means

Nemesis drags River to his feet and tries to set him up for the Death Wish. Nemesis gets as far as getting River onto his shoulder but River manages to escape. When Nemesis turns around to try again, River performs a Double Leg Take Down and puts Nemesis in the Poker Plex.

DV: Could we see the monster tap out?

Nemesis begins to groan in pain as River increases the pressure. Nemesis looks like he might be about to tap when Enforcer runs down to the ring and distracts the referee.

RJ: What?! What’s he doing here?

While Enforcer distracts the ref, Hobo jumps over the security wall and into the ring. He then grabs River and hits him with the Hobo Cuddle. He then puts Nemesis’s hand over the chest of River before jumping out of the ring and hiding under it.

Enforcer then runs back up the entrance ramp as the referee turns around to see Nemesis’s hand on River’s chest. He then begins to count, 1…2…3!

DV: And it’s over. Thanks to the help of Trash TV, Nemesis advances to the final of the Road To Royalty tournament!

RJ: River Ace got what was coming to him after screwing over Hobo earlier on tonight.

Hobo climbs out from under the ring and runs to the back as we cut to another commercial break.

Cruiser Jim Vs Rock V1

The roof blows off the Birmingham Dome as The Rock makes his way to the ring for his first singles match in over five years.The crowd are still chanting The Rocks name when the Hardcore Champion makes his appearance. As soon as Cruiser is in the ring The Rock swings at him but Cruiser ducks and clotheslines The Rock over the top rope.The Rock grabs Cruiser Jims feet and yanks him to the mat before pulling him out of the ring

Crowd cheer

The Rock hits Cruiser Jim with one right hand followed by a second before pretending to spit into his hand before hitting a third that sends Cruiser to the floor. The Rock picks up Cruiser and smashes his head off the steps before picking him up and dropping his sternam(?) on the barrier by the fans. The Rock goes under the ring and finds a cane and hits Cruiser in the back with it once sending him staggering around the ring

Dave Law-Thats got to hurt

Rock v2 finds a cable under the ring around the corner and chokes Cruiser whos spluttering

RJ-The Rock is on fire tonight

Rock v2 goes under the apron on the third side of the ring and pulls out a big gimmicked round alarm clock before looking at it strangely and smashing it off Cruiser head. The alarm clock shatters

Crowd-Holy **** Holy ****

Rock v2 again goes under the ring and pulls out a copy of The Game Plan before posing cheesily to the camera with it and comically gently hitting it off Cruisers head. Cruiser Jim crawls over the barrier into the crowd and The Rock is in hot pursuit and keeps hitting Cruiser Jim in the back before having a swig of someones Lager and spitting it in Cruisers face. Cruiser swings at The Rock but misses and The Rock hits a Rock Bottom on the concrete 1...2......Shoulder up

RJ-Nearly a new champion right there

The Rock argues with the ref as Cruiser trys to make an escape. Cruiser turns around in the crowd to be hit with a running clothesline. Cruiser gets up and The Rock throws him through the exit to the concourse area. Cruiser continues to stagger off and The Rock goes to whip Cruiser Jim into a wall but Cruiser reverses it and throws The Rock into the wall before spearing him 1...2......Kick out! Cruiser Jim pushes a fan out of the way and pulls The Rock whos got to his feet into the gents. Cruiser kicks a door open and grabs The Rocks head and goes to put it down the toilet but The Rock blocks it and slams Cruiser Jims head off a dryer before scoop slamming him on the sink area. The Rock opens another cubicle door to see someone reading a newspaper. The newspaper drops to show Rasta

RJ-Why is Rasta using a public toilet?

The Rock holds his nose as he realises Cruiser Jim has escaped. The Rock exits the toilet and the fans point him down the corridor where Cruiser Jim goes to leave the arena. The Rock catches him and goes for a Rock Bottom on the concrete but Cruiser blocks with elbows before low blowing The Rock and throwing him off the concrete balcony area (think NIA if you been there)

Crowd gasp

Dave Law-Oh my god!

The camera shows The Rocks fall was saved by him landing on a car. Cruiser Jim climbs down and makes the cover 1...2......3!

RJ-Its over

Dave Law-I cant believe it The Rock was in control but Cruiser somehow comes away with the title

Cruiser Jim grabs The Rock by the face and starts verbally assaulting him as he is handed his Hardcore Title. Cruiser slaps The Rock before he sees Rock v2 running down the steps and makes his exit

Rock v2 checks on his Dad

The camera shows rock v 2 accompanying his father to hospital in the ambulance.

DL: well it looks like the show must go on with or without the commish - next up the second semi final.

TGA vs Hero

TGA makes his way to the ring but as usual stops at the top of the ramp to wait for his pyros. As he stands there, hero, the number one contender comes out and hits tga with a chair to the back of the head.

Hero continues the onslaught before Hobo also comes running out and takes out hero with a trash can.

Dl: the three men involved in the 6wf title race are going at it and it looks like hobo has the upper hand - commentators curse!

River comes out and blindsides hobo in retalliation for the nights earlier match. He continues to attack hobo and for the fun of it hits hero a few times too.

He finally leaves leaving the three mee in a bloodied heap.

DL: he doesnt even seem to care about his stable mate TGA.

The medics take the three men away as the ref calls a double disqualification.

RJ: looks like a busy night for the birmingham hospitals! In the chaos it looks like Nemesis has won by default.

Up next up, the hugely anticipated return of Pheonix Rose which now looks like the last match of the night.

Pheonix vs Acer vs Abe

After a hugely heated match, pheonix gets the upper hand sending Abe over the top rope and out to the concrete.

Pheonix scoop slams acer to the middle of the ring.

Dl: it looks like he is setting up his new finisher...'Smelling the Rose'

Pheonix stands either side of Acers head before doing a falling sit down to acers head, in the process covering him...1...2...3....

DL: a triumphant return for the Rose!

Pheoniz stands on the turnbuckle, applauding Abe as he gets to his ahd lapping up the crowd as Shutdown finally goes off air...
